The first patented safety burner for liquidwax candles
Candles are beautiful, but they can also be dangerous if they don’t meet all safety regulations or standards. That is why we at PAX svečarna Stele d.o.o. developed and patented a burner that prevents leakage of liquid wax and possible suction of the wick.
Liquid wax candles – a threat?
In the last few years, bereaved relatives have been using more and more candles and lanterns filled with various liquid fuels. Unfortunately, these fuels can also be deadly if ingested. To protect the customers, the European Commission adopted Regulation 1907/2206 REACH, which stipulates that only liquid wax candles that meet the SIST EN 14059:2004 standard can be placed on the market. The above-mentioned standard prescribes that liquid wax should not leak out of the candle, even if the candle is toppled, and that the candle has protection for the wick so that it is impossible to suck the wick, which is harmful to health.
Unfortunately, many inadequate candles exist on the market that does not meet the mentioned standard. Thus, liquid wax flows out of them even at the slightest tilt, which can seriously endanger human health and cause irreparable damage to internal organs, since the ingestion of wax is fatal.

We have addressed the liquid wax candle problems at hand and developed a candle that complies with legislation and standards, thus also taking care of the health of our consumers.
The Moon candle is the only liquid wax candle manufactured according to the European standard EN 14059:2002 and is the first safe liquid wax candle in the world. We patented the safety burner and thereby enforced our position as innovators with tradition on the market.
